Planning: institutuion and distributuion (Cheinaz Cordeiro)

I have chosen Platinum Dunes as our likely institution because it links well with the idea of the horror genre. I was generally very interested in 'the purge' as i was inspired by that particular movie. So the fact that it is a nation world wide institution connotes that the institution itself already creates a fan base as its very well known for its logo. This would create more views and as a result , they're would be highly successful meaning economically they're would rise. This is the kind of institution that i would would want for our title sequence.My film will be a mainstream production as Platinum Dunes is known for mainstream productions and It includes all popular culture and media culture. 

Platinum Dunes is an American production company. It was created in November 2001 by filmmakers Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Andrew Form. These filmmakers tend to be very social on media which again creates a fan base without the film even be stated which ensures that it would be highly successful. The company specialises in horror films, particularly remakes.On October 7, 2009, Paramount Pictures announced a first-look deal with Platinum Dunes. They plan to branch out of the horror genre into action and thrillers with this new deal. They are also very diverse as they produce horror moves with hybrid genre such as thriller or action.
