Gender Preferences and Audiences in the UK.
- From this we can younger males aged 15-24 and Older males aged 55+ are more likely to watch Action/Adventure also Comedy.
- Males tend to watch the least amount of Family and Romcom genre.
- Younger females aged 15-24 usually watch a lot of Comedy and Drama especially Romance.
- Older females aged 55+ tend to watch more Documentary as well as Drama.
- Females tend to watch the least amount of Horror and Sci Fi.
Stats show that ' The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' had the most amount of Gross in box office also it never had the highest amount of releases, as this is the comedy genre, this shows that audiences are more likely to watch the comedy genre and as the Sci Fi film ' The Man Who Fell to Earth' got the least, this implicates that Sci Fi is the least viewed.
Horror was also another most viewed genre just below Comedy and Adventure was the least viewed genre.
