Research- What is Target Audience?

What Is Target Audience?

A target audience can be included in film, products or music, they are specifically created for a particular group's interest. One example in films of a target audience is Romance, this is targeted towards women, another example is Action, this is aimed towards Men.

The reason why a target audience is important is because it comes to a group's liking, if it doesn't fit what they like, it can have many negatives, including loss in money and bad ratings from films.
One example could be including romance inside an action film where the romance dominates.

Primary - The audience who are watching and are really interested in it and feel involved.
Secondary - The audience who are watching but not really interested int it, for example, a man going to watch a romance film.
Tertiary - The people could be involved to find out more or because they want to feel involved.

One audience that I feel are interested in action is male audiences aged 16-24.
