Research: What is the purpose of a title sequence and film opening.

This is what is expected to see in a title sequence:

• Title Credits, Who the director and producer of the film, the crew etc.

This is a picture of title credits.

• Location/Setting, where the scene may take place or where the film is set.
• Cast, the characters in the film.
• Genre, a basic understanding of what the film type will be.
• Sound, the music that will be played in the title sequence, this will have to be nicely embedded in the title sequence.

One example of a title sequence is 'Deadpool', within the title sequence there is a car accident, the character known as 'deadpool' is killing the bad guys, inside the car there are items falling all over the place.
